Red carpet - Best dressed of the Oscars 2014

The most anticipated and prestigious night of the year in the world of movies - the Oscars, is finally over! Although, most of the people believed that this is finally THE year when Leonardo di Caprio will win the Oscar, that did not happen - Matthew McConaughey came out as a winner. But, if we talk about 'fashion victories', they both were winners!

Generally, ladies didn't experiment much, many of them played it safe and choose the designers with whom they have collaborated. And here is my best dressed list:

Best dresses - Ladies

Glam and classy Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace was my absolute favorite of the night. Every little thing was perfect on her, from dress to hair and make up.

It seems like Lupita Nyong'o never fails on the red carpet. She walked out that night with a double win. Actress best dressed on every list vowed all in a pastel blue silk pleated gown by Prada.

Ladies in Black

Julia Roberts in a black lace peplum gown by Givenchy.
Charlize Theron looked sophisticated in black satin and organza gown with invisible straps by Dior Haute Couture.
Emma Watson gorgeous in pewter metallic ribbed top and black mermaid skirt from Vera Wang fall 2014 collection.



Precious Sapphires 

Amy Adams in straight lined silk crepe gown by Gucci Premiere.
Sandra Bullock brought an old Hollywood glamor in silk strapless gown by designer house Alexander McQueen.



Sweet & Tender 

Cate Blanchett in a gold Armani Prive gown embellished with sequins and gold Swarovski crystals.
Naomi Watts looked sleek in a cap-sleeve white gown by Calvin Klein.



Lovely E! Anchors  

Host duo Ryan Secrast made a great choice wearing a white jacket tuxedo suit, and princessy Giuliana Rančić in beaded bodice gown by Paolo Sebastian.

Louise Roe in emerald gown with a lace sleeve.

Kelly Osbourne stylish and amazing on the red carpet in a white gown with a beautiful sheer gold embellished overlay.
